ISLAMABAD: Crude oil prices have declined by up to ڈالر 6 a barrel in the international market due to fears of a global recession, according to British media. US crude oil West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell ڈالر 5.65, or 5.2 percent, to 10 102.78 a barrel, down 5.59 percent to 10 106.85. The recent rise in prices has raised fears among investors of a global recession. According to the report, another reason for the fall in global oil prices is the strike by offshore workers in Norway, which has led to oil spills. Production is expected to decline by 89,000 barrels.
