In the Uyghur region, 23 more people have been infected without symptoms – Uyghur

According to the Uighur Autonomous Region government’s report on the prevention and control of infectious diseases, as of August 31, there have been 23 more asymptomatic cases in the Uygur region. Among them, 9 people increased in Urumqi, 9 in Yining City, 2 in Shikho City, 1 in Qutubi County, 1 in Jimsar County, and 1 in Guchung County.

As of August 31, 52 people have been diagnosed with the disease, and there are 1,670 people with asymptomatic infections. Among the infected, one person has been treated and cured, and 129 people are being monitored separately.

According to information circulating on social media, China’s policy of “reducing the virus to zero” has brought disaster to the Uyghur people, who are already going through difficult times. In places where the virus is believed to be severe, people are being confined to their homes and condemned to starve, while Chinese people and Chinese tourists stranded in the area are reportedly being treated differently.

According to the news of the “Guardian” network on August 31, a new virus is spreading in China. Millions of Chinese people have been tested for the virus in Shenzhen, Dalian, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Shijiazhuang, and some parts of the cities have been closed. The Chinese government has closed most of its borders, barring foreign visitors or quarantining them in substandard hotels for more than a week.
