The employment of more than 32,000 people in the Uyghur province attracted attention

By the end of August, the Chinese authorities have created 32,800 jobs in the cities and towns of the Uyghur region, promoting the stability of the employment situation in the Uyghur region.

“China News Network” reported that “since August of this year, more than 1,500 employers have participated in the recruitment campaign through 100 sites organized by the authorities, and have recruited more than 24,000 people.” 36,500 people participated in this event.

In recent years, the Chinese government has launched a strategic plan to turn Uyghurs into the workforce of Chinese companies under the guise of “employing surplus rural labor.” A report published by the Australia-based Research Center for Research (ASPI) has caused a stir by revealing that Uyghur laborers are being recruited and sold by Chinese employers en masse like slaves on websites in China.

It is widely recognized by international human rights bodies that the Chinese government is currently subjecting Uyghurs to forced labor as part of a genocide against Uyghurs.
