The Party Committee of the Uygur Autonomous Region has adopted measures to implement Xi Jinping’s instructions during his “Xinjiang Visit”.

The Uighur Autonomous Region Party Committee convened its 10th 5th General Meeting on September 9 and adopted specific measures to implement the instructions given by Xi Jinping during his review of the Uyghur people in July this year. According to the news of “Xinjiang Daily”, the meeting is about Xi Jinping’s continued adherence to the “Xinjiang management policy” which has been defined as genocide by the US government and some Western parliaments, and the so-called “unwavering in the continuous high-pressure attack on the 3 forces”. It is emphasized to speed up the pace of Chineseization, which has been carried out on a large scale in the region.

When Xi Jinping made a surprise visit to the Uyghur region in mid-July this year, he asked to rewrite the history, archeology and culture of the Uyghur region and tie it more closely with China. It turns out that in the meeting’s document titled “The Opinion on the Implementation of the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speeches and Instructions During His Visit to Xinjiang”, it is mentioned that forming a “common consciousness of the Chinese nation”, making Islam into Chinese, promoting the popularization of the Chinese language, and cadres with Marxist religious views It is emphasized to strengthen education, build an integrated social structure and community environment in the region, carry out the fight against ideological separatism more deeply, and further promote the nourishment of Xinjiang with culture.

The document also states that, while keeping the work of the south as a top priority, “multi-layered, comprehensive and stereo campaigning” should be carried out in foreign propaganda related to the Uyghur people. The Uighur Autonomous Region Party Committee adopted this document at a time when the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights recently released a report on the Uyghurs, declaring that China may have “committed crimes against humanity” against the Uyghurs.
